The second MERIT RECOGNITION for the dissemination of Okinawan Traditional Karate and Kobudo, issued by our institution, was handed over to Akamine Hiroshi sensei, 9th dan Ryukyu Kobudo Shimbukan. The plaque was given to the Master during the 2nd Ryukyu Kobudo Shimbukan national seminar in Torino, in recognition of his immense commitment to the dissemination of Okinawan martial arts, and for his precious collaboration with the Okinawa Karate Kenkyukai. Collaborations like this help to grow Okinawa Traditional Karate and Kobudo in Italy, and make the Okinawa Karate Kenkyukai always at the forefront of the spread and preservation of this ancient martial arts.
