In December 2019 was held a triple event of Traditional Okinawan Karate, which took place in the cities of Turin, Milan and Padua, where the three seminars were held. The event covered the three main styles of Okinawan Traditional Karate: the Shorin-ryu, the Goju-ryu and the Uechi-ryu.
The Turin seminar was held at the Japanese Cultural Center, and was directed by Patrick Rault sensei, 8th dan Kyudokan Shorin-ryu, assisted by Marco Valerio sensei, 3rd dan Kyudokan Shorin-ryu. The event took place on November 30th and December 1st.
The Padua seminar was held at the Maritan dojo, and was directed by Mattia Maritan sensei, 6th dan Okinawa Goju-ryu Kenkyukai. The event took place on December 1st.
The Milan seminar was held at the Kuroobi-kai dojo, and was directed by Vladimir Popovic sensei, 8th dan Okikukai Uechi-ryu, assisted by Gaetano Palumbo sensei, 3rd dan Okikukai Uechi-ryu. The event took place on December 13-14-15.
All this was possible thanks to the efforts of the members of Okinawa Karate Kenkyukai.
