Thanks to the efforts of Okinawa Karate Kenkyukai, Traditional Karate of Okinawa CSEN (with the support of CSEN President Francesco Proietti), and of the national manager of these two institutions, Emanuel Giordano sensei, the Traditional Karate of Okinawa has been recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI)! It appears in fact in the List of Sports, Disciplines and Specialties recognized (DELIBERA D.N. N. 28 DEL 18 NOVEMBRE 2017, rivista dalla Direzione Nazionale del 10 giugno 2018), bringing a whole series of benefits to the associations that spread the traditional Okinawan Karate in Italy.
Another great result obtained in a short time, which will benefit many karateka.
